Internet issues, battle.net log outs, complete break down. This wouldn't have happened if Blizzard included LAN mode.
Be assured that 1.3 will include a tournament pack.

I doubt that they will include LAN in the nearest future. And if they do, it will be for big tournament hosts only.

We got a sweet claymation animation during the downtime, so I'd hardly call it an 'utter catastrophe'.
Seriously though, even if it was just Tasteless and Artosis talking while they settled their technical problems, it wouldn't qualify for anything more than an inconvenience.

We all knew this was going to happend sooner or later. Unfortunately, Blizzard prefers to route all traffic thru their servers because it's a better CRM system, which is probably mandatory for their shitty pay-per-time systems implemented in Russia, Latin America, and Korea.

Whats that? Blizzard's anti-LAN stance has failed them again? I'm truly shocked. Totally didn't see that one coming.
I'm also totally not being sarcastic. At all. In any way. I R Srs Squid.

Yup there's a big Team Liquid StarCraft 2 tournament in my city of Calgary, Canada.
Not even gonna bother. Some moron is just gonna trip over the switch/router and it's the referee's call. What a joke.

Tell me about it. And if they don't include LAN, even bigger problems will occur!
