Truth be told, I found the trailer to be disapointing.

From the outset, humans were just one of many. Now, by Mass Effect 3, we've apparently gone to the "humans are special" meme. Granted there may be an explanation somewhere, such as that hinted in ME2, but I feel that the games, comics and novels of Bioware's universe are all succumbing to sequel syndrome.
