Advisors Unlock with Portrait

I've heard about this but for the life of me can't find any orginal threads about this so if you find them go ahead and drop the link I would really like them.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could earn your advisors just like you do portaits? And with every portait you get them as your advisor?

I would totally go for: Tycus, Mengsk, Ghost, Thor, Queen of Blades, Immortal, Archon, Firebat, Overmind, Selendis, Goliath, and number 1: VALIERAN!

Well, they are only a few sound files, so I doubt it'd be that hard to churn out.

If done well, I think this would be an awesome idea for a few select portraits, but I'd rather Blizzard concentrate on something more pressing in the patches and the expansions of the future...

But hey, that's just me. : )

how fun it may be, what's important is that the advisors state the problem clearly to help the player...
i dunno if f. example a goliath would say much at all...

then again, if they put a dark archon in there, i'm sold for it...

Hell yeah this would be cool. A thread about this surfaced once on the official forums and got unanimous support. It's a great idea and I've love to see it in favor of extra customizations.

I suggested the ability to pick from a number of advisors a couple of years ago... oh, the memories. I thought it would be a great way to allow players, especially pros, to distinguish themselves with something visual. Sort of like the equivalent to wearing a jersey in sports.

Instead of units, however, I'd suggest sticking to campaign heroes (or other obviously NP Cs.)
