I don't think this is the real ending cinematic:

- The video is dated 2009
- Kerrigan, Raynor and especially Mengsk appearance is different from their appearance in WoL.
- Quality is highly inferior to Wol cinematics, compare this to introduction with Tychus Findley, New Gettysburg cinematic and the ending.

Probably the reason for Blizzard and Activision banning this video from the web is because they don't want people to believe this is the real ending.

Blizzard does not create cinematics of this quality on the fly. They have to be started way in advance.

They are lower-poly models used for performance purposes. This is a pre-visualization, not the real cinematic.

Why should it matter if it's real or not? My intuition tells me that unauthorized leaks count as a major breach and that Activision is legally required to mop it up to the best of their ability and that the actual content of the leak is irrelevant.

Well that kind of whats scaring me I mean if this was meant to be the ending for HotS and this being dated from 2009 then I really doubt they can change that much seeing how far it already was.

I don't think it's fake but could it not be that the videos are still in the optional stages and that they're still in the process of considering and tossing ideas about or that it's just a short version with missing pieces?

Others have stated that Metzen voices Raynor and Mengsk in this.

It's a concept/pre-visualization video. It's basically a 3D storyboard of how this scene will play out.
