This is a PREVISUALIZATION. Meaning, it's a screen test to see how the story may turn out.
It was posted 3 months ago, meaning it was created for WoL, not for HotS. Why would they create an ending for a expansion planned for 18 months of production?
Clearly, they're in the very early stages of things right now. This leak is pretty meaningless.
Also it does shed light on where the creative process is going for Blizzard, and it's not a good direction.

I don't believe that they're still figuring out HotS, Wankey.

To add in to this, Sigaty said a month ago that things were still very much in flux for the storyline (for HotS and LotV)

It may very well have been made for HotS but thats not necessarily how it is gonna turn out.

That is already better.
Arcturus:
At last. I must say, I’m disappointed in your progress. I imagined you would be here sooner. Tell me - did it trouble you to murder my elite guard?
Kerrigan:
Did it trouble you when you left me to die on Tarsonis?
Arcturus:
No - I had faith in you. In your ability to hate. In your self-righteous indignation.
Kerrigan:
Lies. You cannot have foreseen all of this.
Arcturus:
Eternity is relentless, Kerrigan. You kill millions for some self-righteous sense of justice, I let millions die because it is how nature works. Yet I do not justify myself with some senseless personal cause. How can you presume to understand what's at stake here, to understand human nature? As for you, Raynor...You are truly no different than I am. In fact, you may well be looking into a mirror of your own future...
Raynor:
You're simply in denial, Arcuturus. You've failed, nothing can change that.
Arcturus:
No, it is the two of you, who are in denial. You pretend to be some kind of heroes when you have no idea of the consequences of your actions nor the understanding of the ultimate futility of life. I have nothing left to say, do what you want with me and be done with it already. I care little of being judged and I do not fear death.
Raynor:
I wouldn't be so quick to assume that...You'll live. I've made a choice and you'll live to see the error of your ways.
Arcturus:
So be it.
Kerrigan:
He left me to die...worse...to become a monster. How-
Raynor:
This isn't about vengeance. I've been down that path, darlin', and it's filled with nothin' but hatred, sadness, and death. Our lives have never been anything we've dreamed of, but that's just the order of things, dear.
Arcturus:
Get on with it.
Dominion Marines walk into the room. Hearing the sound, Kerrigan and Raynor turn to face them, almost ready to open fire.
Dominion Marine:
Orders from Prince Valerian, take the Emperor away.
Valerian walks into the room slowly.
Valerian:
Father...You've always been too stubborn and arrogant.
Arcturus:
I always expected you to be a weakling. You have failed me and have failed mankind, son. You're nothing but a disgrace.
Valerian:
Just take him away already. Oh, and father, you'll never be even half the man mother was.
(Yes, his mother. That is intended. He's basically humiliating his father by saying that.)
Arcturus shrugs in an angry and repulsed manner.
Arcturus:
One day, you'll realize all your mistakes, and it'll be too late to save even your own humanity.
Arcturus is carried away by two marines, but repulses their arms, as he doesn't want to be carried, and walks beside them, as if he is escorted.
Valerian:
Thank you, you've truly saved humanity. We owe you a lot, both of you. I will arrange a ceremony for-
Raynor:
No need...Mengsk. We don't really deserve a warm hero's welcome, and I think both of us agree.
Kerrigan:
I am personally glad to see that you're not your father.
Valerian:
I trust you'll keep your end of the bargain, then?
Kerrigan:
Yes, I will leave humanity...And the Protoss, to their own. I will take the Zerg and leave this sector.
Raynor:
You can't possibly-
Kerrigan:
It's the only way, Jim. I'm sorry things went the way they did, but as you said, life isn't exactly fair. I'm doing what's best for everyone...And a monster and murderer like me never would fit around. Especially not with all the Zerg keeping me company.
Raynor:
I guess there's little I can argue there, now...
Valerian:
Thank you both for everything. Raynor, the Dominion will no longer pursue you as long as you do not openly engage Dominion troops or any allies and the public will get to hear of your story. Farewell, and...Good luck.
Valerian leaves the room.
Kerrigan and Raynor turn to stare at each other for a final second...The screen fades to black as we see them from overhead in the same room and zoom out of the building.
The end.
How's that for an ending? I continued on what was posted. My guess is Kerrigan would die eventually, perhaps in LotV, ultimately truly redeeming herself by perhaps killing the Dark Voice or whatever is behind the entire events of the saga.
Kudos to Arkceangel for the Terran avatar and sig!

Well I'd say this is better and probably close to the best it can get while retaining the main structure (taking over Mengsk, free zerg).
Of course I'd personally change this main structure...

How do you play LotV without Zerg?
