Well I was very surprised to watch this video. The music was darn good, I think. But still it may or may not be the ending for HotS.

Why not? She could have returned them their individual minds, undoing what the Xel'Naga did long ago, somehow. We didn't see the whole campaign.
Not necessarily 100% true. If the Zerg are truly free, some of them could choose to side with the Hybrids. I expect some kind of Zerg characters that can interact by speaking with others. Probably Queens. That would open a lot of possibilities, like fighting against any factions, with all kind of allies.

Just found this article on GamesRadar: StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm leaked ending was legit
I take back all I said earlier about this being a fan video. The immediate cease and desist letter from Blizzard lends credibility that this was created in tandem with Blizzard.

Disregarding the fact GamesRadar could be lying about getting a letter at all.
Haha, yes, I'm just that good.

People here are just skeptical of the video mainly because of two things
1) It sucks because people look at it as a finished product.
2) It's leaked
NOTE: The music is from TRANSFORMERS, and the VOICES for MENGSK AND RAYNOR is METZEN. Can you not hear the resemblance?
To address #1, it's okay to actually consider Blizzard as not being perfect. They're a subsidary of a multi national game company owned by a French Corporation. They lost their souls a long time ago.
Also, the video is a prevision. Nothing is set in stone but it is more or less what their envisioned ending is. It may improve, the whole thing may be scrapped - but accept the fact that this was a rough prevision by Blizzard.
Addressing #2 - There are numerous cease and desist orders reports from numerous credible gaming websites. The video ID is also flagged for instant Youtube removal. Someone must mirror the video or edit it to by pass the youtube filters. The removed videos state that Activision Blizzard requested it be removed.
I'm really sorry to convey this to some of you guys and girls, but the amount of evidence amounting up to a legit leak is huge. I mean this in no offence, because I have done the following. But holding a company dear to you will only blind you; short comings and obvious mistakes need to be recognized.
i.e. the "Fans" believing that we seriously don't need chat channels. Yet enough forum ranting and raging happened...oh look..Blizzard is patching it in finally.

Third floor's site, note how SC2 is pulled. The Kerrigran flash back and the leaked HOTS used to be there.

I'm gonna ask one question after giving a notation. The notation is the video does not let us see or hear Mengsk die, so assuming so is purely speculation.
Can it happen? Hells to the yeah. The real question is, would it not be so much more like Arcturus to ask the question/make the statement: "What does killing me really do for you other than turning you into into another me? Can you live with that burden?" I would half expect Jimmy to intervene and say "He's right. Dammit! He's right! We'll just have to set up the new government and let the courts have him. We've seen enough death in our day, darlin'." Thoughts on the plausibility of this, given that the video has a high probability of being and incomplete event?
How many sci-fi shows/movies have we seen of various quality where the bad guy is seen like this and then pops up alive and well elsewhere? Think about it.

I am a master tactician. It is my execution that keeps getting me killed.

The only way I think they could possibly make this ending work is if, we are shown all the crimes Mengsk has committed and if characters are constantly talking about vengeance throughout the game. The ending would then leave us with the feeling that he totally deserved it and that it was justice, not vengeance that drove us.
But I don't think thats what they are going to do. I can't believe I'm saying this but I think I've actually lost faith in Blizzards writting capability.
