I'm guessing you've never heard of Blink, Zero. Blink makes Dragoons look like... well, Reavers.

You think Blink makes up for the difference in health and large discrepancy in damage output?
Mobility is nice, but when your units are still stuck on the ground and get rolled by most units, Blink isn't going to save you. Having units that can actually push back Marauder and Roach balls with out having to spam Sentries? Heaven forbid the race that has the racial trait of "Heavy Hitters", actually do equal or more damage then it's peers at the same tier. Heck its more then likely you won't even research Blink in a game unless you are massively devoted to the vulnerable Stalker.
Not dogging on Blink or nothing, its an awesome ability. But it does little justification for the individual unit to be weaker, especially when early game is where the race is the most vulnerable, IMO.

The only unit I want to see from SC BW in SC2 is Devourer!
I think they will do them for the Heart of the Swarm, and I hope for the great look!

Marauders beat Stalkers 1-on-1 because Marauders can't shoot up. Stalkers have low HP and DPS because they are more mobile than Marines and can shoot up, thus being more versatile. Frankly, Zealots are more the counterpart to Marauders, and Stalkers are the counterpart to Marines. 1-on-1 a Dragoon would kill a Stalker, but as with everything you cannot ignore the effect micro and abilities have on balance. A player who puts in the time and effort to Blink his Stalkers could kill any number of slow Dragoons.

That's false reasoning. Stalkers have lower health and damage not because they can shoot up, but because they can Blink. Dragoons have higher health and damage, but can still shoot up, they just don't have Blink.
So many hole's so little time...
This was never a discussion between Dragoons vs Stalkers. It was a discussion on what works better in an army composition. Also, researching Blink does not suddenly make the Stalker move faster, it just makes them jump around once every ten seconds. It does little to stop units who are actually faster, from catching them all it does is delay them. Its only useful in abusive terrain settings. And its untrue that microed Blink Stalkers could kill an infinite amount of Dragoons, because Dragoons have the same range, greater damage and more health. All they have to do is be controlled like how decent Zerg control roaches, with just move and fire, move and fire. Then no amount of Blinking will help.
Blink does not win battles. Nobody ever walked into a losing battle, Blinks once or twice then suddenly wins. Blink can be used to tip an even fight in one direction or another. Or make a winning battle a decisive victory. And the only reason it does that, is because in a straight up fight, the Stalker lacks the strength to muscle through units, so it needs to be tricky with Blink to break even. Dragoons have the muscle so they don't need it.
I was also never advocating have Dragoons OR Stalkers. I see a good place for both. Dragoons are a very solid early-mid game unit that requires little baby sitting requirements and good "face punching" potential. Stalkers are better in the mid-late game, after they get Blink, to pick off key targets. One could easily make the majority of his force Dragoons and have a Control Row or two as Stalkers to blink behind tank lines, snipe broodlords and the things that make Blink useful.
