It remains to be seen how much actual writers' feedback will be there, but at least the claim of intention is there...better than nothing, I think.

Speaking of the writers, does anyone have any information (old interviews, etc) as to whether they played any of the famous Campaign Creations campaigns and what they feel about them? -

Why am I asking this? Well, CC guys wrote great plots for their campaigns and it would be nice to know that the writers have taken note - if not for their own inspiration, then just out of the alleged passion for the game/lore (and not just for paycheck so to speak).

I don't think the level of discusion will ever reach actual serious themes though.

The SC2 story has no themes, its just a jumbled mess of nerd mayo.

It's also a cheap (and exploitative) way to have the fans write a decent plot/story for the next games, and at the same time, supplement the lack of writing talent and foresight of the Blizzard SC2 plot team.

I agree with you guys, but for once this forum is quite new, and Blizzard might be watching over it. It's just an opportunity to run some sence into the head of the writters.
