8 games in four years. That sounds... unusually hasty?

6 of which are expansions. And keep in mind that there are separate teams for WoW, StarCraft, Diablo AND the Next-Gen MMO (they overlap in helping to work at the game nearest to release though). So the schedule's quite reasonable and is hardly at variance with most people's expectations. The only thing I find surprising is that Diablo 3 is to have two expansions (I hope they don't plan to chop IT'S plot into three parts)

I dunno if I can trust that schedule... Would Blizz really release the Diablo 3 at the same time as the SC2 Expansion along with the SC2 "Phoenix"? Releasing those three at the same time would kind of make each of them lose their thunder.

I don't see why Blizzard should care. They have warcraft.

Perhaps part of it is true and part of it is not. Well I would say don't take it too seriously, just a grain of saltThings will come when it comes so for now let's just wait ...

Fake.
Guys, this all public knowledge.
Contradictions
- SC2 dev team also strongly stated that the map market would not see the light of day for a long time. Mid 2011 sounds plausible but they said it not
- Even DOTA from WC3 would NOT meet premium/market place conditions.
- There's also a discrepency between the developement time of SC2 X1 and SC2 X2 (LOTV), it's only 1 year.
Forecasted Items
Finally I will reiterate my first sentence, this is all public knowledge.
We know the Product Cycle for WoW, that's not hard to guess at.
It's also not hard to guess at Diablo since it isn't even out yet
We know they have a next-gen MMO, it's not hard throw a random game down the road and call it TITAN.
-Game Informerbut this calendar suggests that we'll get something along the lines of eight Blizzard releases over the next four years.
He pretty much sums it up.
Plus the font on the top of the chart looks cheesy as shit. I've worked in a big corporation and I've seen confidential reports and what not. "Product Slate" sounds too amateur. Not to mention the graph is really hard to read, all businesses use fiscal years with Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4 notations. This looks like something out of high school.

For some reasons that website scrunches the graphic making it illegible. Rather amateurish. Here's the full view of the chart which is more legible.
Gifted, why are you having a hard time spitting out your wall of text? With 6 edits you must be hiding something from us. Explain yourself or be defeated by me in a 1v1!

How many thousand dollars are spent for every quarter there?

I sure hope not! I don't think that Blizzard have what it takes to make a fps. Not a AAA title at least. Blizzard is famous for ripping off everything and making something great out of the ideas already out there. Thing is, there's no more place for clones in the fps genre.
