Starcraft 2 Music Video I made; check it out!

Hey everyone, I'm new to these forums! But as an introduction, I will show you a music video I made centered around Starcraft 2, using the song Morphogenesis by Scar Symmetry. Even if you've never heard of the band, (I'm sure you haven't!) you should still watch it. I tried to make it flow with the music as much as I could. Here it is:

Also, I want to post this on the official Starcraft 2 forums as well, but I just cannot get my battle.net account to work on the forums! I made an actual b.net account, and I have my Starcraft battle chest registered on it, but when I try to sign in on the forums using my email address and the CD key from the Battle Chest, it just doesn't work! Can anyone help me out?

Pretty cool, I commend you on a great song being used, love me so Scar Symmetry.
The video itself however, not sure the video and the music Jive to well, the begining it does ok but it falls apart once the in game footage starts.

Yea, before I made it, I tried to think of some sci-fi-ish metal songs, and I realized that this song would be good. I imagined the song playing alongside the cinematics, and it seemed awesome in my head, but once I started the video, I realized just how few cinematics we've seen so far! I tried to use as much 'cinematic gameplay' as I could, (I.e. the parts where it shows in-engine shots, only from different camera angles than what you can do in gameplay) but there wasn't really enough of that either. Plus, it was hard getting HD versions of the videos; you can probably tell that some parts seem at a lower quality than other parts.

Gametrailers has a fair amount of HD material I can understand your frustration with the lack of cinematic...tho my not through some stuff from the first game into the mix? perhaps the newly minted fan cinematic we have now.

Yea, I tried downloading from Gametrailers, since they are an excellent source that I've used for a while, but apparently you need to pay for an account so you can download HD videos. And I also thought of using some footage from the SCLegacy video, but I felt that it would be a bit disgraceful, since they made all that CG material themselves, and I didn't want to steal it! Idk, it just seemed wrong for some reason, but if everyone thinks it's ok, then maybe I could edit some of it in there....

And if I do, then I will make sure to give them full credit for it! I'm the kind of person to give credit where credit is due!

I really like it, although i lost the momentum the moment the scream part started. And i cant help but be a little irritated that its just music with videos. Might i suggest editing the vids a bit like fitting the scream parts a bit more and it would be grand. Other than that it had a lot of great fitting scenes. Fav'd. Great work.

Thanks! And yea, I'm going to try to mix in some of the sounds from the games in with the music in my future videos, it's just that I didn't really think that this song would mesh well with the Starcraft sound effects. And I don't understand the part about fitting the screaming parts more? Do you mean by adding in the sound effects on top of it?

Amazing work man! You should add some footage from first contact and Ordiginal Starcraft, then it would be almost perfect.

hmm, for the scream parts there should be a little bit of close up blood and gore. yes sound works a bit. if you want, edit the scream parts with some sort of a red and black background. Something like at 2:33. yes some BW footage might be a bit nice

I thought the editing was good. Thanks for the video and this is my first time hearing Scar Symmentry. Will have to check out more of their stuff.
