It's their game, they'll do whatever they want with it.No one gives a flying fuck about single player info.. no one's going to be able to play it for another 6 months anyways, stop with these useless press events and just fucking finish bnet so you can get beta out the door.
Get beta out the door, and during beta have a single player press event.
You're just having a PMS because you think Blizzard owes you the beta or something.

So I suppose people didn't care about the game two years ago when they heard about it? Because it was 'years away'?
People care about single-player info. I don't really (well maybe some more mechanics, I'd love to see a story-unimportant mission or how they put a mission together but I don't want to see anymore storyline), but some people do.
But anyway, I do want to see beta soon, these friggin NDAs just bug me a lot. Especially needlessly long ones. (Seriously. Wasn't the last one like a week long? Why is this one two weeks?)
Well, they don't owe anybody the beta, but it's getting really frustrating to watch the process at this point. They're clearly happy with the build, so they're not changing much (or they're putting in really stupid things that they know they'll change) so they don't really have much info to share with us. It's not that they're holding anything close to their hearts. You're just having a PMS because you think Blizzard owes you the beta or something.

Yeah, I really have no clue why they NDA this stuff.
The information from the last one was not worth an NDA.
I doubt this one will either.
From the last press conference we got more gameplay info, and that was it IIRC. There was nothing that required an NDA.

What if it's Bnet 2.0 information?
I can see it being stuff TL would skip out on, if it's Bnet features that don't actually relate to SC2's gameplay. Would they need to care about advanced chatroom options or custom avatars?

This man makes a valid point, wrong about caring about single player info but this should be the process:
1. They release beta, shit ton of hype
2. Towards the middle/end , after blizzcon, they have the media week about single player to renew interest in hype in the game before they ship it

One can only hope. The first minute of August, PST?
I'm leaning towards the other option, which is the last minute of August.
