Incorrect, I agreed with it because it not only involved a point, but explained clearly facets that lead up to your point that wasn't fully abrassive. As I've said in past comments regarding you, it's all about tone... that was well thought out, and most importantly, well explained in a way that contributed to conversation.

There will be SC Universe fans that don't hate what they did deep inside... so therefore, we can't use that as a generalization.

I still hold a firm belief that I enjoyed the story and that it was a good story. I'm not saying it was mindblowing or fantastic like the original, as it definately pales in comparison... but if you compare it to other games that are in the same spectrum of design I find it a good one. (ME2 is NOT in the same spectrum and will always seem superior in story design, as that was part of THEIR design decisions)

It's ok to start with this as long as you don't go around using this as a "majority" angle.. cause in the whole scheme of things, we enthusiasts are the minority on this angle.. I know it sucks, but common acceptance was "good story".
I changed the words so that people don't get into that argument again.

On your other note, you don't know either what the majority think, so do not pretend you know better than me or some1 else, because you don't know, okay?

And since we don't know what the 3 million people think, we can only talk in terms of what the people on this forum think and the majority(yes I counted them) didn't think the story was "good", they think its bad.

You can count them as well, if you think I'm distorting the numbers.

Tricia Helfer, damnit! I want Glynnis back! There was no reason to get rid of her once the got Clotworthy back, other than to piss us off.

And, this is only if his original voice-actor is still alive, whoever voiced Artanis in Brood War.

Tosh and Valerian and Warfield were pretty good though.
    Also this.

Blizzard had a falling out for some reason, and no one bothered to explain the cause of it all.
Yes, but if boycotters WOULD follow through with their threats then they would hold a great clout with companies. If people are angry with the decision to switch Kerrigan's VA and want to do something about it besides writing about it online, that's the one thing they can do.

It will happen when hell freezes over. We knew in advance, and I think we're past time to make an impact. I think it's possible that the public reception of the new Jim helped get Robert back, but back then it was actually a realistic demand. We knew about Tricia in advance, got some previews, and if the complaining didn't work then I'm sure it's not going to work now.

Besides, I can't remember which bnet forum I saw it on, but Tricia herself recently confirmed that she had been doing VA work for HotS. So yeah, the lost cause is lost, so I advise letting it go and sparing yourself some trouble.

Well maybe Tricia makes a better voice for Sarah?
She might be better without the infestation act!?^^

That's one way to look at things, but, we HAD previews with Glynnis as well (the first part of the Kerrigan vs. Zeratul cinematic released BlizzCon 2008) and the response to her has been overwhelming. Tricia not so much. If anything, as far as I can remember the new Raynor VA has been better welcomed.

Also, it's a matter of principle. It has been enough of a screw up on Blizzard's part for me to refuse supporting what they're doing to SC 2, however insignificant such a gesture may appear.

He's not pretending. He's calling you out on your BS statistics and logical fallacies.

Question is, who exactly have you been counting? Have you done a few polls? I've noticed that in fan-forums, angry people are more likely to respond to polls than contented people. Did you send a PM to everyone whose been active in the past six months? How about it?

I'll agree that SCII wasn't as good as Mass Effect, but I also believe that is an unfair comparison, seeing as how the original StarCraft doesn't measure up to Mass Effect. And if you really want to get anywhere with these polls, you might want to adopt ideas other than "Fire the bums," a strategy which appeases your anger but doesn't address the underlying problems with SCII's campaign.

Lots of people did boycott SC2 actually (spychi was not one of them :P). I got the impression that it didn't do as well as expected and I know several people who don't have the game & won't buy it until chat channels are added back in.
