I live to keep you jumping. But sadly, most of what I do is behind the curtain. So much admin work and keeping the balls moving. But I am starting to get more involved in a lot of the content.

Lets be honest here, if we were in charge, we'd probably make on of the worse piss poor RTS games ever created in the history of RTS games. All this forum bantering is meaningless when you have a real game to make.
It's easy to look at a story, and say how I would've done it better, it's incredibly hard to start a story.

The first thing I would do is fix the custom map system ASAP. It was a mess when it was released and it's still a mess. Knowing that custom maps are one of the major things that kept players hooked to the previous starcraft, it's easy to understand why. My approach to fixing it would be to mix the previous custom map system with the current one. What I mean by this is that when you would enter the custom map section of b.net, you wouldn't see the entire database of uploaded maps like right now, you would only see the maps that are currently being hosted just like before. But, when you want to host a map, you would be able to search for and host any map that has been uploaded on the b.net database. If you try to host a map that is already being hosted, a message box would pop up saying "can't host this map, it's already being hosted, do you want to join the lobby?".
The next thing I would do is make a team that would look over user-made melee maps and add the best ones (that also follow the competitive map restrictions) to the map pool. This would be a way to encourage the map making community and to satisfy the needs of competitive players.
For HotS, I would ask my writers to sum up the complaints that have been made about the WoL story and then analyze them (something they are probably doing right now). I would then ask them to write the script for the sequel on their own. Once that is done, I would ask them to compare their ideas and let the lead writer/director decides what do we keep. Maybe that's what they already do but since I don't know, I would make sure that it works that way. Like I said in another thread, I really think that they brain storm too much stuff in groups instead of individually and I believe that this alone can greatly limit the potential quality of a story.
I would hire a pro-gamer to work on the balance team. This would be an attempt to lower the complaints made by gamers after each patch. Plus, I'm sure that he would do a good job.
I would bring back the original actors for Kerrigan and Tassadar (if needed). I still don't see why they changed them in the first place so...

Agreed, but that doesn't mean constructive criticism isn't helpful or progressive, and most of these "How I would have done it[s]" are more so constructive criticism than arrogant "I would have done better" ideas imo.Lets be honest here, if we were in charge, we'd probably make on of the worse piss poor RTS games ever created in the history of RTS games.
