Chance to make custom campaigns like in Warcraft III (that mechanic was perfect, why not implementing it in SC2?)

What vital role!!?!?! What gameplay is there with Voidrays? I haven't seen one good voidray play in any GSL or MLG games ever.
The unit itself isn't interesting. Marauders are hell of a lot more interesting than Voidrays can ever be. They need more units like the marauder in the game.

WTF? How is the Marauder interesting? It deals ridiculous damage to Armored units and buildings, are very cheap, and kill any micro opportunity for the enemy by making it's units move at a stupidly slow rate. Try to micro a slowed-down Zealot, just to have it killed without doing anything and tell me if that's fun.
I agree in that the Void Ray has serious issues, and could be a lot more interesting with modifications. The "wait to do damage" mechanic isn't really working well. I would try a reverse-VR mechanic instead: make heavy damage for x seconds, then the damage gets lower until the unit is y seconds without shooting.
