Not interesting? A unit that increases in damage the longer it fires on a single unit and thus if microed is actually less effective whereas all other units become more effective when microed isn't interesting? Marines, Hydras, and Stalkers chew through the things like butter. They may need a bit more tweaking but seriously, the Void Ray is far more worth keeping than, say, the fucking Carrier. You're an idiot.

LOL, forum troll. The last part was completely unnecessary. Maybe you should go outside and realize life isn't all about SC or maybe learn some manners.

You just said it yourself, if microed, the unit becomes ineffective. How does that make it interesting? IE, you just watch it kill everything, controlling it (ie, playing the game) actually makes it not as good. That to me proves exactly why it needs to be removed. That kind of self pwn argument doesn't really need much of a response.

All units should increase in effectiveness when microed. Everyone loves how Foxer is using the marines in a completely new way due to micro. Now imagine that if he had microed those marines, they become less effective. How does the game improve?? Nobody wants to watch a rock paper scissors game.

Bad manners aside, Demo is right on this one. Except for the part where both of you are wrong - it doesn't get less effective when micro'ed, in fact if you DON'T micro it at all, it's completely useless. It just requires much smaller amounts of micro. But you can't just order it to attack-move and hope for the best, since it'll get chewed up and spat out by any massable unit with an air attack.

And Wankey, considering 90% of all your posts are complaints about SC2, maybe you should go outside. I don't mean to insult you, just want to point out that character attacks don't win arguments. I'd point that out for Demo, too, but I don't think it'll stick. :P

I dislike the idea of putting in SC 1 units. If they are adding any new units at all I wish them to be truly new and not just SC 1 units coming back.
I do support the idea of more tile-sets, like snow, and I also want your decisions in the campaign to have more of an impact on the campaign.

I don't think anyone was actually supporting the idea of having SC1 units be the 'new' SC2 multiplayer units. What people want, and what we were promised, was that the SC1 units would be available for use in the map editor.

Makes sense. Thanks for pointing that out for me. In that case I will support the return of SC 1 units. No reason not to put them in the editor.

Telling a moron hes a moron isn't trolling. Its honest constructive criticism.

SC2 has oodles of Rock/Paper/Scissors type play. There's a ridiculous amount of hard counters.

Simply put, different is interesting. StarCraft could only have 1 unit for each race and be balanced, but no one would want to play that. Variety and novelty rule, that's why abominations like the Thor get to exist. The Void Ray is different, and holds a vital role in the Protoss army. You just want it gone because you're not happy with its balance, which is truly pathetic because that can be fixed over time.

It is a common occurrence for people to call each other trolls or idiots around here (and around the rest of the internet). Even for those who label themselves as better than others (blatantly or not). As for Demo, he's the child that says what he wants regardless of what the adults say. In other words, he's been like that for a long time. A ridiculously long time.

That's not constructive, Demo. That's destructive criticism. Insulting someone doesn't exactly help them.

I think its been proven enough that the right insults at the right time can in fact be very helpful.

Perhaps but many people will become more annoyed or angry especially if they are already in either of those emotional states. Or it just turns into an insult trade.
