Who do you want to see become the Legacy of the Void protagonist?

I'm guessing that Zeratul and Tassadar will be the top two while Mohander and Urun will get very little.

It's kind of a hard choice between Zeratul and Artanis for me... on one hand, Zeratul is easily the protoss with the richest history and most character development, and on the other Artanis seems to be destined to be the new glorious leader of the Protoss complete with stirring speeches. Artanis was hardly a leader like figure from what we saw in BW, so he kind of needs to develop into a leader figure for his new role to work properly.

I don't really like the way that Zeratul has become so fearful, and I guess that his encounter with Duran on the hybrid planet made him what he is. Still, I'd like to see him get over it and get his old Dark Knight complex back.

We don't know a great deal about Selendis, but based on what little I've seen she seems to be a a mix of Aldaris's fanaticism and Fenix's honor and warrior spirit... and that could be a great character for sure, especially as an added dynamic to Zeratuls MO of guarding Kerrigan. I'm predicting that Selendis will not like Zeratuls stance on Kerrigan one bit.

I don't know anything about Urun... he seemed to be really calm in the final Protoss mission, so I guess he's a protoss general who doesn't afraid of anything?

Tassadar wasn't even a character in WoL, so I have no comments on him.

I have no opinion on Mohandar.

Listing Urun and Mohandar is pointless, they're obviously going to be minor characters in the campaign, no way they're going to use them instead of Zeratul or Artanis.

Besides, Blizz has stated numerous times that the protagonist will be Zeratul. Which to me is a really bad decision. Yes, Zeratul is a really cool character(or at least he was in SC and BW), he has a rich history, etc. But his whole shtick is to be mysterious, wise and old beyond measure. He's a loner and a warrior, not a leader. Yeah, okay, he's the leader of the Nerazim after Raszagal died, but he doesn't exactly act like it, does he?

I don't want to think about Tassadar being the PC in LotV. Don't even joke about stuff like that. *shudder*

To me, the choice is obvious - Artanis should be the PC. He was the PC in SC, and he's the hierarch, so it makes sense that he'd be the one trying to convince all the tribes to work together, not Zeratul. And what do you mean he was hardly a leader figure? He lead the assault on the Overmind for pete's sake, how is than not a leader figure?

I find that characters are very rarely both talkative and mysterious. After all the talking he did in BW I don't know how Zeratul could become all mysterious again, or if it's even possible. Didn't Artanis leading anything against the overmind. I doubt him mostly because of how timid he was in BW, and it's like he was trying so hard to impress the others. Not the traits that I look for in a leader and a blatant disonnect from what we saw in WoL.

Raynor and Kerrigan have been through the entire series. Zeratul appeared in Episode III and has been important since then.

IMO, using any protoss protagonist except Zeratul makes no sense. Zeratul's character is more defined, and can undergo character development.

As Blizzard said several times that LotV would be about diplomacy, i think that a good choice would be Artanis, or why not Artanis and Zeratul? What stops you from controlling the decisions of two characters?

I doubt that Artanis has anything to do with the character as seen in BW. It's physical appearance is totally changed, and it's supposed to be the Executor at SC1 (player's character), so what he said and did in BW won't be appropiate anymore.

I would had simply put a name into the unnamed Executor, and make him lead the Protoss now. Wouldn't had re-used Artanis for that, as it unnecessarily creates a lot of havoc in previous lore.

Blizzard has also stated multiple times that you will be following Zeratul in the third expansion. This is part of their reason for exposing you to him so much in Wings of Liberty, to create a sort of attachment to the character and his plight to imply some foreshadowing of what is to come with him.

ugh...nothing against artanis but ppl come on..he's a kid for gods sake...he has absolutely no knowledge,age and experience to be able to take on such a responsibility let alone to be able to pull off diplomacy between 2 factions that almost tear each other apart...it makes no sense, its okay to let him rule in the hierarcy because he has loooads of elder protoss there to guide him, but on his own..please..he would be mocked to no end

Obviously Zeratul. Artanis is so ripe to becoming the arrogant prick who's gotten so big in the head character.

Meh. I would have liked to see what the Protoss on Shakuras are doing. I don't want to spend the first half of the campaign traveling through random caves with Zeratul. But at the same time I'm not a fan or Artanis.
