I've noticed that, while terran and zerg have decent options for harrassing (be it mineral line or buildings), protoss seems lacking. Zerg have mutalisks, nidus networks, as well as effective and cheap zergling/baneling raids. Terrans have banshees, reapers, and hellions made for harassing, as well as very effective MM/stim/dropship combos.
On the other hand, protoss has:
Dark Templars
Phoenixes
Warp prism drops
And that's about all I can think of (except crazy things like carrier harass).
DTs are effective, but are tier 3 and usually only require detection and a small defense force to render obsolete.
Phoenixes are also effective, but require constant micro just to attack workers (until their energy runs out) and cannot attack structures at all. A single turret can be overpowered by mutas, but phoenixes can't do a thing. In addition, 2 phoenixes are needed to do any damage at all and 3 or 5 to be truly effective.
I like warp prisms, as one can carry 2-4 units and then warp in more. Still, it seems like protoss is lacking in viable harassment. Am I forgetting something? Is there a tactic that I'm forgetting? Or do protoss players have to do with significantly more difficult and fewer options to harass?
