I don't consider it to be conclusive evidence, at least unless Blizzard have contradicted their own canon which was already established by Tassadar in the very same game. If that is the case they truely have sunken to a new low and are a lost cause.

from the moment they didn't stick to the lore the moment they fuc... destroyed it, the story is really poor as everything get's retckonected, Tassadar explaining to Zeratul about Overmind was the most cliche and cheap story I have ever heard, along with other things
even the begining ... Raynor has a battlecruiser but he doesn't use it in the first mission
the concept of upgrades for creds, mercs is cool but everything else....
Mass Effect Universe Fan, I support Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for Game of the year award! ME2 still is being the best rated game this year! Keep it up

Pretty sure that the haters are exaggerating the retconning though. Overmind was a pretty big retcon, but he was as dead as dead can be. I considered Kerrigan to be a good retcon personally. It was pretty bloody lame having her end with "I'm the ruler of the universe and I'me just gonna come back in four years from now for the lulz". Tassadar was more of a cameo than an actual character... whether or not he is a good retcon or not hinges on several things... like, whether or not he was a believer in life after death, spirituality and what his role is in legacy.
Other retcons like the Jim/Kerrigan relationship aren't quite as big and Jim had a few other motives for going to Char besides the obvious impications of keeping her photo around. Stuff like Zeratuls vision, Jims guilt, attonement for the role he played in failing her at Tarsonis, and then inadvertantly getting Fenix and millions of others killed by getting her back into power... yeah, it's an irrational guilt, but quite understandable given the circumstances. Hell, I felt like shit when I accidently injured my pet dogs leg, I can't imagine how horrible Jim felt about Kerrigans killing spree.

dont judge the game so fast, there is a lot more to the story that we dont know yet. Also the cliche elements in the story doesnt make it bad. Just because you seen it somewhere else doesnt mean that it cant be used here.
But still i think those cliche moments will turn out to be a part of something "not cliche at all". WoL is basically the introduction of a greater plot going on behind the scenes of the war.
But if you want to be so ignorant, i wont hold you back
peace.

No, the part where Tassadar is shown is pretty much horrible by itself. Nothing can recover that crap.
You cannot show something like the return of Tassadar in such a cheap way. He should have returned when all seemed lost, not casually chatting with Zeratul.

Frankly, if they HAD gone for the 'Tassadar saves the day' reveal that he's alive, that would've made me punch my monitor.
Yes, Tassadar arriving for a chat with Zeratul sucked. But it wasn't the chat part, he actually gave Zeratul very important information. What sucked was the 'arrival' part. Tassadar had the most meaningful death of all the characters in SC that died. I know a lot of you love Stukov, I do too, but there is simply no comparison. Tassadar should be DEAD. He was a fantastic character, one who fulfilled his potential and saved the world once. I personally don't want him appearing in SC2 anymore, especially not to save the world yet again. Though he obviously will. Which will suck. What's with Blizzard and their fetish for reviving dead characters? Next thing you know Duke, Fenix and Aldaris will show up. If I was a believer I would pray to god for that not to happen.
EDIT:
And @Zeraszana:
If they revert Kerrigan back to the Queen of Blades, that would be THE MOST IDIOTIC THING they could do. They will have basically WASTED 2/3 of the whole story. One campaign followed by another, which undoes the WHOLE first one. Whoopiee.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not that big a fan of Kerrigan being deinfested, though I didn't really see any other way to continue the story, but having the first 1/3 of the story being completely negated by the second 1/3 of the story is mind-numbingly stupid.

Best ending for WoL would've been to end it really, really dark by having Kerrigan to somehow lure Raynor to Char and after a very tough fight actually killing him. Now THAT would've been a controversy that in the end would fit the SC universe mood. Everything sucks.
