    Default Starcraft Editor Teams Together

Hello everyone, i just made a map for Starcraft 1 and i wonder how can i put teams together (Humans in fixed location and bots too), do i must make a trigger? if i do is there someone there that could give me a hand with this?

I tried many things in it, but the triggers i leaved intact, i am looking everywhere about that but wonder how can i make this work

    Any help?

Woah, SC1?! First of all, what type of editor are you using?

I'm using StarEdit, that editor that comes with the Starcraft, ive downloaded that StarcraftExtreme, that comes with new things, but i'm not sure what's the difference on it

I just want make a map that is 2 players VS 6 bots, or maybe 2 players vs 10 bots ( that i heard is up to 12 slots )

    1. From the menu bar up the top go: Scenario -> Forces
    2. Drag the players to other boxes to assign them to different teams.

    Good old SC1

Yes i did this off course, Player 1 and Player 2 are in Force 1

The others are in Force 2

And i even UNCHECKED 'Random Start Location'

But then, when i create it on multiplayer, there is game modes like, Top Vs Bottom, that changes everything, i even tried using the USE MAP SETTINGS, but no sucess,

I forgot to mention, i just want fixed positions, Force 1 spawning in a fixed position, no random, always the same place (thats what i wanted to say when i said 'teams together), because since im gonna play me and my friend vs lots of bots i want to we start in a fixed position together, so we got a lil advantage on this, starting on random positions makes somehow very very hard if we are outnumbered

When i use map settings, the game wont let me include BOTS in it, and if i added it manually in the editor, looks like the bots don't have a command, they just stay still in the same place and do nothing, no gathering resources..

... K, I am assuming that you are just new to SC. So, first off, it can only go up to 8 players playing in a single game. Secondly, you don't have to make a custom map to have a same spawn location as your team member. Blizzard already has some game modes that you are probably looking for. Instead of playing TvB, you should prolly play Team Melee. You should:

-First, go to Multiplayer in the main menu.
    - Then, click either battle.net or LAN (depending on how you are connecting with your friend(s))
-Create a game and select a map. As you are selecting a map, change your game mode into "Team Melee" and choose how many players per team
-After you have created the map, you can change some slots into computers instead of leaving them open (leave however many you want open so that your friends can join).
-Wait for your partner to join your game.
-Start the game and have fun!

That's not the option im lookin for, this make 2 person play at the same colony, i want separated teams, mine colony and his colony, mine race, his race you know lol, but our bases very close to each other, vs 4 bots but my preference is vs 6 bots which is possible, but we always go to random locations, so we can't backup each other, thats why i want fixed location

That's what i mean, simple as that, but the spawn is always random, i want FIXED spawn positions, thats all
