    Actually, come to think of it, the only reason people make stalkers early game is because slowed zealots suck, unless there is some other reason I am unaware of.

    Making stalkers light significantly changes the way TvP works, and would probably make either hellions or reapers OP, since those are the 2 Terran units that stalkers actually counter (why do people make them!?). Making them nothing would make Protoss overpowered, mainly against Terran.

    And @Jabberwookie: if you can get there, hydralisks. Banelings and Infestors are obvious, but support from hydras rather than zerglings can change the battle.

    But if you lower the base damage and raise the bonus, changing it from 10 (+10 armored) to 9 (+11 armored), Stalkers take the exact same amount of damage, but Zealots take 1 less damage. That 1 decrease in damage to Zealots stacks up if you consider fire rate, army size, etc.

    And this wouldn't be too much of a nerf to the M&M combo either, because Marines with Stim still pack a punch, it's just that Marauders won't be the undisputed powerhouse in the early game.

    i remember that marauders stats were 6+14 vs armored in beta , if i recall correctly...Why have changed?

    the problem isn't if PvT is balanced or not (winrate), the problem is that PvT doesn't have balanced stages. Early game is strongly terran favored where early protoss units don't deal well with marauders. lategame is protoss favored because the same mmm group doesn't deal with several collosus and heavy army well at all, but is still the best option (add vikings and ghost and thats really the best you've got). they need to rebalance the stages of the matchup to do it *correctly*
