New Zerg Faction from HotS showed at Blizzcon?

I was watching those artworks they showed at the end of the SC2 Art Panel and I wonder if they are actually showing a new Zerg faction. Its because of that image of what looks like an ultralisk, with Kerrigan (maybe) right in front of it. Yet that ultralisk is different from the one we know, as he is yellow-green instead of brown, is covered with plants and only has one pair of scythe arms...

In another artwork we see the same ultralisk in a colorful forest (at the left in the image), hidden among the plants with other zerg-like creatures. They could be critters, but the presence of that Ultralisk makes me think that they are all new zerg units. Some elements of the background could also look like Zerg buildings (the giant tentacles or the pools of green ooze for instance).

That concept for a zerg unit is consistant with those new, mysterious and colorful zergs. He's also found in the forest artwork.

Do you think that these brightly colored/plant-like Zergs could be the ''good'' zerg faction in HotS, lead by Kerrigan? As opposed to the regular/brown/evil Zergs that could be under the Dark Voice's control, as shown in In Utter Darkness?

I don't know, all I can see for sure is that Kerrigan has her normal hair back in that pic.

Now that I think about it, the zerg are kinda planty, spreading all over the place.

A bit too flowery for my tastes, but it's a nice look.

I can imagine it. Though does anyone else think that if they're heading in that direction, majority of the Zerg race would eventually consist of those plant things? I dunno what to make of that.

good zerg? i hope not, maybe they are just the proto units that the zerg absorbed and mutated in the stuff we know today.
And that third pic just looks like a weird bananalisk to me.

Yeah the black stripes on both the orange Samwise critter as well as on that big Ultralisk/Kerrigan pic looks like too much of a coincidence, especially since the Ultralisk has got some jungle foliage on it, and there seems to be some kind of new jungle environment coming up.

If they're toying around with some subfaction of Zerg that's been mutated specifically to thrive in this particular environment, that'd be pretty neat .

The Blizzard art-team has obviously been watching Avatar alot.

I do love what I see in those pictures though, it's new, unusual and provides a vast amount of possibilities for new Zerg designs.

Seems to me like there was a lot of Jungle left on Auir in the Dark Templar trilogy. Also, since the Terran Dominion and occasionally the Protoss do not have the option to burn down an entire jungle, creating breeds that will pick them off when they are marching through is a good idea.
