Would modding SC2 so that the sounds are replaced with SC1 sounds be a violation of end-user license agreement? Would I be banned if I created or used a mod that did this?

I just downloaded all SC1 sounds and seen/heard all dialog from the game..
Almost made me cry. Comparing to SC1 ..SC2 voice acting is cheap crap.
And it ain't nostalgia.

Very true. I think the community has just gotten used to crap.
The sounds in SC1 are far superior in design, albeit I'll concede the sounds in SC2 are better in sound "quality" simply because Blizzard now has millions of dollars to buy better sound equipment but as far as the actual sounds, they are terrible.
I hope they redo a lot of the sounds for the expansion, I don't want complete redos but upgrades to the sound. For example, Metzen's shitty russian accent needs to go for the Battlecruiser, it was great when the sound quality was low but you can clearly hear he's just in a room talking and it feels very amateurish.

SC1 Zeratul have journeyed through the darkness between the most distant stars. He have beheld the births of negative-suns and borne witness to the entropy of entire realities...
SC2 Zeratul will erase the demons of the past and he will be redeemed. He will this, he will that...
IMO, his voice/dialog/quotes were biggest disappoint in the game.

For the record, I hold that the voice acting in SC2 is solid IMHO. I just believe that the script needed work.

I think the reason Blizzard's writing sucks so bad now is because Bill Roper and his gang left.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Blizzard needs story writing lessons from Bioware and Pixar.
