On a serious note, I advise akismet as an option to help out against this spam. From what I understand this website is joomla and I would advise taking a glance at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensi...s/2576/details

It might give you a direction to prevent this and other spam from seeping through the cracks. It worked fantastic on my SMF site and provided no limitation to the regular userbase.

We already switched registration to VB instead of Joomla. These "new" prawn bots registered before we did that. All you can do now is report the posts so that we can ban the bots.

Like I said, these bots registered before we switched it. There are currently no newly-registered bots posting. So the solution is to report posts & the problem will eventually go away.
