I think the consensus is that MULEs and Chronoboost are fine and while everyone knows Spawn Larva sucks just as much there is not a chance in hell Blizzard will change it now. Part of their new "When its ready, unless Bobby Kotick says otherwise" approach to game design.

I think the game is much better for it. However I think more work could have been done. Particularly on the Zerg mechanic.
