I play 2v2 on SC 'cause it's just more fun than 1v1 and we've been stuck in gold for the longest time but for some reason, we're matched with platinum / diamond players (and still steam roll them many times)

So this match, we've both zerg, and we decide to rush together 6 pool just for kicks. The guy scouts us and starts getting mad. So he fends off the 6 pool and I've already transitioned to hydra / roach / baneling while he's bad mouthing his way to victory.

So the entire game, we're having a verbal back and forth. He's berating me saying how crappy of a player I am, and that if I want to cheese I should stop playing. I'm like if you're going voidrays, the jokes on you (which he did go but we fended it off incredibly easily)

His ally goes all in tank defense and colossus to rid our army of hydralisks and roaches.

We nydus and we win. The guy leaves. So after the game, I wanted to just say "pwned" to him, and the guy ignored me! LOL

I found it incredibly funny.

So I was in this game and this guy SCV rushes me...Wait no, it has to be funny for me

So I was in this game and my ally was fast teching and I was just massing tier 1 (2v2) Marines and both opponents tried rushing me and attacking me badly and my ally had all the time alone untouched and he did Ultralisks and Brood Lords and they ragequitted LOL

I've actually had something similar happen to me several times now. I don't always have friends to play with on 3v3 and 4v4 so I often play with random people. My rankings are therefore lower than my 1v1 ranking and so are my teammates.

The typical scenario - (FYI - I'm actually really nice to strangers on battlenet and try to be civil) - I am rushed by all 4 opponents in a 4v4 and someone (usually just one person) blames me for "sucking." I explain to them that they have to actually help allies out and they are the ones who suck. I then challenge them to 1v1 and they say something like "Lol I'll own you."

After the game is over (ironically, I've rebuilt and ended up leading many of these teams to victory).... I message the person who insulted my skills and ask them to play 1v1... Every time they find some way to say no, usually by saying "Lol I'm not guna waste my time..." or "Lol I'd own you too bad."

I think they usually avoid playing me cuz at the end they see that I received way more points that game than they did. But I always feel satisfied when they're too scared to play me so I consider it a moral victory

I had a match vs ShadowAldrius in Beta. I beat him with nothing but a pylon remaining, hidden in the long grass.

My greatest LoL story/ greatest humiliation, was losing to Mass Ravens.

I went 2 gate -> Robo against a Terran player on Lost Temple. He did some early poking with a Reaper, which I easily scouted and killed off with a quick stalker. He poked a bit later with a small squad of marines and marauders. I backed my zealots, stalkers, sentries and immortal back a bit so I could cut his army in half on the ramp with a force field. After I crushed that force, I took my natural and camped at both watchtowers and went into macro mode.

My first observer I sent to his base died, because the dude was gosu at seeing shimmers. So I built another and sent it in. I was fully expecting large numbers of barracks, or even a factory or two for tanks. But when I get there I see four starports with tech labs and a fusion core just completed as the observer caught sight of it. So I lol'ed in chat about Battlecruiser rush, and he gave a </3 to my observer.

So I get it into my head that I gotta kill him before the cruisers come out, so I push on his front. Which is well walled off and he has a couple tanks shelling from the far side and high ground, forcing me to back out. So I decide to go stalkers, since I already had 2 ups for ground attack, might as well go lots of em, since blink stalkers to real good against battlecruisers. My second observer is dead at this point, because a raven pops out, spots it and a few marines pick it off. Then comes a little lul in the action as I take a third and get up to 200/200 of mostly stalkers and some zealots. Suddenly this cloud of red fills my mini map over my base. So I think to myself "hell-yeah" this dudes dead with his cattlebruisers...

Only to my surprise its a fleet of ravens! Likely around 30 or so of em, couldn't get an exact count. I verbally let out a big "wtf" as I see this and a move with my stalkers. Suddenly six point defense drones fly out, preventing all my stalkers from doing ANYTHING. Then the rest of em threw down about 50-ish auto turrets. Still blocked by the PDD, my stalkers are now under fire from large numbers of turrets, so I retreat back to my natural. Figuring that the timer will soon expire on the Auto turrets, I ignore the warning sounds from my UI and try to expand again. Only problem is... the sound doesn't go away. By the time I look back, MY WHOLE FREAKING BASE is gone.

Just a grayed out area where all my tech structures and production building were. So I have a 200/200 food army, but no base. Unable to push on the front door once again, because of PDD & Tanks, the rest of the game turns into an hour long battle of me slowly picking off ravens with blink stalkers, dodging seeker missiles (achievement yay! )and re teching. Eventually I kill off all the ravens! YAY its finally time to dance. Suddenly the horror dawns on me as I realized he has tech swapped in the time it's taken me to widdle down the ravens. He used the drop in food, to suddenly surge forward with 3/3 Thors.

And that... was game. Pushed back the first wave, but nearly 200/200 Thors (he killed off all but 10 of his SCV's for repairing). All the resources except for one gold expansion (the one on the lower half of LT, which was his half). I gg'ed and we exchanged witty and humerus banter with one another as we watched the thors rip their way through every and anything. He was a cool guy, and played very well, if not EXTREMELY unorthodox.

I was playing 1v1 when I tried a carrier rush but when I got to the enemies base, their whole base was covered in cannons...literally. Let's just say I didn't win that one.

I was playing against a terran and we both just turtled up on Metalopolis. We didn't really harass each other. We just slowly expanded and built up our armies until I got capped at 200/200. So I thought f*** it...ATTACK!!! At the same time I was researching carrier interceptor upgrade and had 1 stargate. I rush in with all my units. First I just see a bunch of vikings....then mass rauders and tanks. I had zealots, stalkers, sentries and a colossus or two. The moment my food started to go down I started building a carrier. Needless to say.....he raped my whole army. 200/200 went down to around 90. He pushed in with his remaining rauders and tanks. Elevator dropped. I charged in zealots to kill them off. Got enough time for my carrier to come out. After that he pulled back and I just started massing carriers off 3 stargates and getting all the air upgrades. He got some vikings and sniped off quite a few carriers. Then i got around 6/7 carriers and I just rushed him. Killed his 10ish vikings then apparently......he had no more vikings or marines. Destroyed his main. He attempted to nuke my carriers but I moved them away. Then upon destroying his main, natural and 3rd, I wander to the other starting location close to him and I see.....MASS MISSILE TURRETS. I pull back and kill his gold. Get a few more carriers and come in from the back for the kill. Just seeing those mass turrets really cracked me up. After the game we got to chatting and he said he thought he had enough vikings to deal with all the carriers. That was a really funny game. Long though.

My recent was on the new 1v1 shakuras platue map. I tried to scout pretty early, but he had blocked his choke completely. So I didn't really know what to expect at all, I decided to super fast tech to observers.

While I did this he attack with zealots, I chronoboosted a stalker. While he had more and more zealots. Attacking, killed my pylons and got my supply blocked a couple of times, but I constantly kept microing the stalker and probes. I got an immortal out and defended quite well because of the large reinforces distance and got a sentri out to block the choke. So he decided to retreat. But I saw everything going on in his base with my observer.

So I went fast colossus, he had a pretty huge army of zealots and gateways. But after he saw my colossus he justragequitted. I thought I was going to lose that game for sure because of the super small army I had at the start.
