Wait until you get to higher levels of playIt's not too powerful. In fact, sometimes, it just not worth the effort.

IP bans are bad, as most connections have dynamic IP, so it would cause more harm than good. Even if the hacker's IP is fixed, which is rare, he can get rid of it by switching providers, and the IP is guaranteed to be re-used, causing terrible damage to some poor guy that randomly got it.

Bumping to proclaim Blizz has banned more cheaters.

This is just awesome. I hope they're setting an example for other companies. Taking an aggressive stance against cheaters is one of the many things that sets them apart from other developers and keeps their games fun.
Thanks Blizz!

Why do we re-use this post? We don't know the number of banned users, so re-using a thread with this title is misleading. I'm surprised, considering the anti-necromancer stance of the forum.

Blizzard's approach on hackers in SC2 is much better than BW. Hacking was out of control in SC1.

The online experience is much better in general. BN lagged badly in BW. It would be excellent, if not by poor decisions like not been able to change servers, no chat channels, etc.
