Talk about coming in at the last second sheesh. Very nice to get group A moving along. Updates on tournament in my next post.

OK update on happenings. Group A, being the slacker of them all, has actually caught up and played most of it's matches. There is one person who has not played, but they have not contacted me at all and will probably be disqualified since they had ample time to contact me. To the people in Group B: if anyone knows what the deal with Corgon is, if he is going to play his other matches or when he said he forfeits he means the entire round let me know. I am going to try to contact him as well in pm to make 100% sure what his plans are.

The second group stages will be starting soon. The top two from each group will be put into two more groups of four and there will be another group stage to find the final four to represent the NA side.

The people who have already qualified for second group stages are:
Group A: Xeonio
Group B: Dharmainit
Group C: Siraz, Superkiller
Group D: SkullzX, Cardjr

Please do not start with the next round of matches until the entire first round is complete, which will I will signify by posting the new starting map and the additional brackets. I will also be collecting all the replays and making them into a replay pack for all those that are interested. More details on the replay pack later after the tournament is over.

Attention first mod who can: please update the first post with the brackets I just posted. If you can delete the hidden content and hide the "group section" and make the picture bracket the visible part I would appreciate it.

Because Corgon had not played all of his games, if he would have gone 4-0 in the rest of his games vs you and McLovin he would have got into the next round and you would not have. (There were only 6/8 names for those that qualified instead of all 8 due to unfinished games in group a and group b). The 6 names that I listed were just the ones that were into the next round no matter what happened to the rest of the games. Since Corgon declined the rest of his matches SaharaDrac is the other person from Group B that will advance. After the Halloween party that I am going to I will post the complete second round brackets and let everyone know who is going onto the next round. I mean, its fairly obvious, but I still want to make it official and make it start November 1st. GL HF everyone, I will update this later tonight about 11pm EDT. Drive safe, don't drink and drive or hit kids today, no matter how many "points" your friends say they are worth.

Second round of Group Stages will begin tomorrow November 1st.

Group E is the top two of Group A and the top two of group C. Group F is the top two of Group B and Group D.

Rules:

• Everyone will play only the people in their group in a best of three series.
• Starting map of each match will be Lost Temple and then loser's pick.
• Can only pick maps in the current map pool.
• If situations arise that require action, try to be fair about it. IE; if someone disconnects and the game is in question as to who could have won, its ok to just do a rematch. This IS supposed to be a fun tournament so do not abuse the power. If a person purposefully discs to avoid the "loss" and the game itself was seemingly over, you will need an outside person to say if it was a win or not.
• When you upload replays to this thread try to have it in a (Player vs Player,game) format
• When reporting a match have it in a Player vs Player and follow it up with the score. (If 2-1 have P1vsP2 2-1)
• If you have any other questions, ask before you play and I will answer as soon as possible.

Thanks for finally getting the first round done, it was definitely an adventure that I want to do only if I choose to do it instead of am forced to do it. GL HF everyone.

Ah ok this makes more sense to me, I wasnt saying u had to win XD just try and then they can give you a pointer or two after the game(if you ask for it im sure they will be happy to help )

The forfeit didnt screw anything up, I just did not know what was happening with your situation at that time I responded to Sahara in the thread. If you forfeit your group because you have other stuff going on it just means everyone in that group gets 2 automatic wins. No need to apologize for having a busy life, and no need to apologize for being "bad" at the game. There were shit tons of issues that happened throughout the tournament not the least being that the original organizer up and vanished like a fart in the wind. This is just a fun little showmatch series to face off against the EU people and I am trying to treat the tournament as such. If crazy stuff happening threw off the tournament, it would not even be going on right now. When I say GL HF at the end of my posts, I really do mean everyone should have fun, win or lose. So GL HF everyone, more updates when they become available.
