WoL has been out for 2 months. Do you really think they would have something substantial to show after 2 months of work. Hell they probably didn't even start on it right away, the devs need a break after WoL crunch time.

I don't see D3 releasing out before HotS. Even if we didn't see anything from HotS, it's probably more completed than D3. People who think D3 will be released in 2011 are very optimistic.

On topic, I can't wait for the singleplayer, the units not that much, since I will just adapt my game to them and learn some new builds and stuff. But it's mainly like a patch where the balance gets changed. Some stuff will not work as well, some other will become stronger.

Nope, D3 is farther, unless you count all the stuff from WoL.

I would expect D3 to come out around December of next year or in 2012 (punt intended).

From Wc3 RoC -> Wc3 TFT the differences was HUGE. And now we will get 2 more expansions which are said to be almost like standalone games.

They might not even add new units. Maybe new features on maps are added? Controllable bridges? Double-gas extractors? Minefields? There is only ongoing debate whether they'll add new units, IIRC. Nothing certain as of yet.

They'd be stupid not to add new units, or at least new upgrades and abilities.

Its just too bad they were too stupid to include so many units in the first place. Each race could easily do without 2 of their units right now.

Maybe each race gets to be op in their chapter/expansion - and then at the end, one big balance patch.

Dont think we'll be seeing a lot of new units from here forward - I think it'll all be new upgrades and abilities (as squid mentions)
