Hmmm....looks like you're now able to play a 2v1 on the (one and only) 3 player map.

Haha I guess the people who already did all the insane achievements are golden now ; ) And I guess I'll never have'm :/
Don't really care tbh, but I don't really like blizzard changing stuff when it comes to achievements. The should just focus on doing a better job when they incorporate a new set.

the thign is, they previously changed splash to originate from the center of the target. should they make an exeption for the utralisk?
else it wont have any splash at all while attacking large buildings - once they fix it.
... i found anotehr thing. you can stim from inside bunkers now.

You could stim inside bunkers before I thought...
The Ultralisk splash really does need changing, as said before AT LEAST on CC/Nex/Hatch because these buildings have a huge outer circumference, and whenever you try to move infantry armies near them the units naturally 'flow' around the structure's walls due to the pathing AI. This could theoretically mean an Ultra would do more damage to an infantry army by attacking the nearby building, as its' strike would radiate onto every defending unit... this doesn't make sense in gameplay terms, unit cost terms or even (shudder) lore. Let's not forget that with more than one Ultralisk (ie; always) the problem is compounded, and any worker even returning to drop off resources on the opposite side will get one-shotted.
Should an exception to the rule be made for the Ultralisk? Yeah, basically, since the former rule no longer serves this situation. It will retain the splash damage effect on smaller buildings (T and P wall-offs are in for some pain) and if they change it to a hitpoint-radius "explosion" mechanic then it will keep some splash even against larger buildings, on the appropriate facing which makes sense.
I'm just surprised nobody at Blizzard caught this, I can't imagine for a moment it's deliberate design.

I had heard that only applies to single player and doesn't work in multi. Also, I don't believe stimming was possible prior to this patch and this is the first I heard about it. Very interesting change.
Before the beta infantry was planned to be able to stim inside a bunker, and even more scary was the ability for the ghost to calldown a nuke inside a bunker as well.

I'm fairly sure it's the fact that they now do splash when attacking buildings (instead of their head-attack) that is causing them to hit nearby units. You know, like splash should. Since it's splash.the thign is, they previously changed splash to originate from the center of the target. should they make an exeption for the utralisk?
else it wont have any splash at all while attacking large buildings - once they fix it.

Damn.... wait for the megapush, nuke it, and then trap them with a few throwaway units at the back while the nuke falls.... I think I see why it never made release.

Yep, not sure about beta, but definitely there as of original release - very handy - no nuke or repair however - wouldn't mind some EMP vs Protoss, thoI don't believe stimming was possible prior to this patch![]()

yeah, your misunderstanding me though; i mean, if tehy "fix the bug" so that scvs repairing arnt al taking splash from utlras attacking cc's .. would they change ultras to splash at the edge of the target instead of the center?
if they dont do that, utlras attacking large buildigns wont splash at all. (assuming this is acutaly a bug that will get fixed; im not sure it is - ultra splash is quite large in radius)
