    Default Undocumented 1.1 Changes

    Hey,
    We've an 'official' thread on the 1.1 patchnotes (inadequate though they are) and an active discussion on the art changes to the interface; these are all highly visible and well-known changes.

    There doesn't seem to be much notice given to the inevitable undocumented changes, so if anyone has noticed any different behaviour NOT covered by official notes let me know.

    The biggest one I've noticed is that if you dont have the Insane AI achievements yet, it's going to be an absolute goddamn nightmare to get them, as perhaps it was always intended to be. The Insane AI (and probably anything above Medium but I havent tested, as I only play against Medium and Insane) is no longer vulnerable to straight-up cannon/spine rushes, the AI will now worker-rush any structure even if it's in the Fog of War and thus technically invisible to it.

    Cheesing insane AI is incredibly tedious now. You can still do it, but you need to start on the lower platform since anything built on their level insantly aggro's them.

    Another undocumented change is that they fixed the 1366x768 resolution bug

    I'm not surprised that they introduced a new bug w/ this patch. I think I found a bug myself. I had a weird game last night where I was holding shift and making Dts from my gateways when a surrender screen suddenly popped up where I was clicking the arrival locations, resulting in a loss that should not have been, at least not so early in the game. The replay is worthless, as all it shows is the surrender notice. I'll watch again later and post the replay to see if you guys notice anything peculiar.

    so couldn't we techinaclly keep building pylons and cancel them right before it finishes to keep the computer from actually harvesting anything?
    or does it actually have a few workers keep mining?

    ultras splashing repairing scvs when attacking a building is pretty sick. i like it.
    I am an enthusiast of good strategy games, sc2Esports and rollplay, although i dont really play anything atm.
    I work an internship at a government agency this fall, and have a good time at it.

    I know it's been documented as a bug, but I think the idea should stick for smaller buildings/units like the Thor - just as long as it doesn't happen for like, CC/Nexus/Hatch (imagine losing all your larva because an ultra was attacking ur hive)

    I'm guessing thats what they'll do, but I have a feeling that they'll make it so that against large units, it won't do any splash (kind of like siege tanks).

    apart from (russian Idra's) jolly dance...

    he's going to love the ultras as they are now...
    i can imagine the tears when they fix that bug..

    then again, i would love to see those pesky workers drown in blood...
    i mean, healing your builings under fire? pffft! well, i've never...

    Uhh... guys, Ultras do splash, why wouldn't they splash the SCVs that are repairing a building?

    EDIT: Oh, wait, i seen the video now. The problem isn't that there's splash, the problem is that it's surrounding the whole building. Completely anomalous.
