With my recent Top 200 NA ranking, I think that can show people that I at least know a little in what im doing, and gives me some clout in the gaming world, at least a little.. My win ratio is in the upper half of most of them, besides A+ gamers like KiwiKaki/Select/Huk. Didnt need 600+ games to get to 1400 ;o
WILL ALSO SAY, I have more than enough knowledge of Terran and Zerg also, I played terran all phase 2 of the beta and the start of retail, and also a few weeks of zerg. Not just for Protoss players!
A little background on me; I am 23, been playing Starcraft since I was 12. I have been mainly a 2v2 player, getting on a few sponsored teams in WC3 and then in the SC2 Beta, now I am a free agent due to my lessened playing time, but I still play enough to get a Top 200 NA ranking ^^ I am not the best mechanical player, yet I understand all aspects of the game and know the thought processes of pros, from both sides of the pond (WC3 style and BW style) even if I myself can slack at times.
I have taught in the Team Liquid Coaching League for a season, where we took D-/D players and made them into C players. It worked quite decently, most of my team did improve largely in skill yet their issue is dedication/playing enough. I will stress that for anyone to want to get better, you need to play enough per week. like at least 20 games a week. That is a given, but the other aspect of improving is knowing what you are doing wrong, and knowing what you need to improve.
So anyways, I feel like I could help players, as long as they know the basics of the game (I'd say Silver/gold level players would gain the most out of it) but I can try with anyone at all, even diamond players. As long as you have dedication and a desire to learn, I can teach you the tools to become a better player.
I figured it was worth a thread at least, since I am hard for cash right now and any extra bit can help. I would not be charging as much as Incontrol/"gosucoaching" obviously (even though I've beaten most of them), Im willing to work with people, as long as it is enough money to make it worth my time (not going to do an hour for $1 or something).. but eh I was thinking like $10 an hour to start? Lets see if I actually get a few people, if I do and time becomes more of an issue, maybe I'd have to up it then.
