this is an off-topic forum we're in so what's there not to expect when having a discussion that leads elsewhere...?
i'm not trying to say that sweden is a bad country... i'd say the opposite, it's quite nice at times and even though i prefer animals way more than humans...Not to derail the topic, Senervo, and as much as hate the old "but look at [x], they are much worse off than you" argument, be glad you're not in South Africa.
some are alright...
and from where i live, most people, i am sure, would agree with us here how sad a topic like this really is and how it affects the present life of so many..
when i think about it... this thread became bigger than i expected...
but truth be told, racism and political power-mongers will always exist, a bitter truth to be sure, but with idiots running our worlds, i'm sure this will always remain.
i didn't say that you abuse your power now and have never thought you did...See, here's the sad part: I posted way more often before I was a moderator. I had something like an average of 5 or 6 posts per day and they weren't those simple posts that never contributed anything. And here's the weirder part: Some people think I've changed since I became a moderator and that sooner or later the power is going to get to my head. I haven't changed at all. I'm still the same friendly, random and helpful member as before just with less posts. And I've been in countless many positions where I could abuse power in life but I never did be it over a group of people or something else.
i don't understand why anyone would turn against you, as i for one feel that you seem to have done a fine job at keeping this community, with it's... quite peculiar members at a valid level...
thanks for the good job...
ah...well... i think we've all settled our minds and i feel we've all come to a satisfying conclusion: People suck... not all...
but enough to make a difference...

We're a really laid back nation with good laws, fantastic health care system, Medicare, lots of jobs (we're the only developed nation to survive the financial crisis) and just an all-round great place to live. If anywhere, I'd recommend Melbourne.
