    For EU/Korea/SEA that may be the case. Tuesday is usually patch day for the US, and Wednesday for EU (for WoW at least). If you play on the US servers though, it'll be Tuesday the 21st.

    What does this mean for terran:
    1) Back to infantry a lot more drops a lot less teching.
    2) The reaper barracks is now proxied so the 5 second delay means nothing.

    What does this mean for protoss:
    1) An additional gateway and a later expansion

    All in all it narrows the scope of the late game slightly.

    It's 5 seconds, people!

    Honestly, people just read "Zealot nerf" and conclude that since zealots are being nerfed, that must mean that everything zealots were good against is suddenly far more powerful.

    It's 5 freaking seconds! Not even real seconds; game seconds! Tanks had their attack nerfed by 15 vs. light, but the thing Terran seem most concerned about is the health of their SCVs.

    It's 5 seconds. Get over it.

    I guess since you don't play Protoss Mullet, you've never experienced fast marauder pushes from proxy raxes with slow. Right now, pre-patch they're already extremely difficult to stop if you get a zealot second, and as Protoss, you're forced to stalker first to thwart any potential reaper play.

    Now add the stress of you zealot coming out late? 5 seconds is a big deal in early game when you have 1 marauder fighting 1 stalker. with another marauder with slow coming right up. The zealot used to come right when the second marauder shows up, and thus tanks the additional damage while you have a second zealot and a stalker incoming while the terran is pushing harder with 2-3 marauder and 1 marine. 5 seconds means that it will be 2 marauders vs 1 stalker, and subsequently 1 zealot only without stalker support...

    Do your homework please. The 5 seconds is a big fucking deal.

    I am very surprised that they would patch in the middle of the tournament.

    Isn't Blizzard partners with Gom TV? All the drama over the past year regarding who Blizzard chooses to do business with and then they patch right in the middle of the biggest cash tourney in the world?

    Why not wait two more weeks? I don't get it.

    That would only be the case if it takes less than 2.5 seconds to kill the stalker once the second marauder arrives (I'm going to assume you're chronoboosting the zealot).
