The average Protoss is 7 feet tall. There is no variation between Khalai and Dark.

Aren't they roughly 3m tall? 7 feet is like 2.1m

That's what's stated on the original box cover regarding their measurements, however, there is considerable inconsistency in various cinematics, manga artwork and novels regarding this.
My guess would be that while Protoss are certainly capable of reaching heights in upwards of 3 meters, it probably isn't their average height.
(another thought)
I suppose much would also depend on exactly how you measure their height. Remember that Protoss are digitigrade with multi-jointed legs. their total height when their legs are completely outstretched would probably be bit greater than it would be when they are 'at rest'.

Actually you can compare it in Raynor/Zeratul cinematic. Compare the distance between Raynor's/Zeratul's head and the ceiling of the corridor. You'll see that Zeratul's head almost hiys the ceiling while Raynor's is still a good 2-3 feet away.

Here's what they look like in the editor. Don't know if Blizzard messes with the scale in the actual cinematic.

Well one thing is for sure. Zeratul seems to be (IMO) the approximate size of Kerrigan in the CGI cinematic.
And Kerrigan is ****ing huge.
I think for the purpose of having it look less silly they probably just made Zeratul a little shorter when talking to Raynor. Hell, he even fell on his knees.
There's no way a marine in a suit is taller than a Protoss, unless Blizzard (like everything else they retcon) retconned the height of the Protoss to approximately what Gradius said. That would make sense with what we see in SC2.

The only one (in the above picture) who's measurements we can be absolutely certain of is Tychus'.
He's just over 2 meters tall, and weighs in at roughly 170 kg; (and that's without the CMC armor). In one of the novels I believe it's stated that the CMC 400 armor adds about a foot in height and several hundred lbs in weight. So Tychus in his armor would be roughly 2.35 meters (just over 7.5 feet). Protoss are generally depicted as being taller than that, but exactly how much taller generally varies quite a bit.

Naw, that's the size Zeratul remains in the cutscene aboard the Hyperion. And I think Kerrigan was Raynor's height or slightly shorter. Since Zeratul and Kerrigan didn't have the epic fight we expected, there isn't much way to compare their sizes. However, when Zeratul leaps onto her his feet are huge compared to her shoulders. So this looks like it's the way things are sized.
No other Protoss are presented in the game, so this might not have been an issue for the game; Zeratul is simply shorter than other protoss; or protoss were indeed made shorter. Which would piss me off.
