The "bluish flame" is actually a teleportation mechanic.

When they are too injured to continue fighting they are warped back to be inserted into a dragoon.

There is no death, there is only the Force.

... err, I mean the Khala.

Well, when a zealot gets teleported, it's upon the point of crippling or death.

It's stupid that they don't teleport before getting crippled of killed. They should have some kind of supercomputer in their suits that sees the surroundings perfectly and can calculate when a fatal blow or bullet is getting close while the shield is down and immediately teleport the Zealot back.

The answer is simple: Implements of death are notoriously proficient at killing. While it isn't normally portrayed as such in games, it only takes one bullet to kill. A single stab wound or a single grenade in the face is more than enough to turn a perfectly healthy person to a dead one in the blink of an eye. In all likelihood, this holds true for the Starcraft universe as well. The strike that breaks through a Protoss' shields is likely the same strike that lodges a Hydralisk's blade in his cranium.

If there was a computer that teleported the warriors out of combat the moment a potentially lethal attack is about to hit them, they'd be retreating the moment they arrive at the battlefield.

In fact, if you want realism, they should just make Shield Batteries movable, and never let his units run out of Shields. With their technology, i don't think it would be too difficult for them to do that. Hell, now they even have a unit that can deploy a power field, like a Pylon. The same unit, or a secondary one, could act as a Shield Battery.
