    Hell,

Going a step further, it's likely that the Terrans were another side project of the Xel'Naga's...seeing as how the prophecy has Kerrigan within it, leading to the obvious assumption that they had planned a Terran/Zerg hybrid from the get go...or at least whenever that prophecy was etched in stone.

The gas may, infact, have been a plan to enhance the Terrans had they taken too long to develop...or been a component in their very creation, were they a side endeavour of the Xel'Naga. Either way, she wasn't just the Overmind's answer to the freedom of the Swarm...she was, and is, the Xel'Naga's as well.

I don't think Terrans were created by the Xel'Naga. I think they will be the wild card that breaks the cycle of death and rebirth so that the Dark Voice can never attempt to derail it again.

I don't know, at the very least...the Xel'Naga knew of the Terrans for quite some time...at least as long as the prophecy was inscribed.

I wouldn't like that twist. The "Ancient Astronauts guided human evolution" meme is cliché and over-used.

On the original topic, I would like to see terrazine re-appear in the Zerg campaign. It could be a resource (like credits) to customise ones units, for example.

Didn't he get the whole idea of Kerrigan surviving from the Overmind vision (where the Overmind created Kerrigan to free the swarm)?

I am not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure that the Xel'Naga prophecy depicts Kerrigan as well... I don't have access to the game right now, so can anyone else confirm?
