idk, but sooner or later we're gonna get new registers out of nowhere, people registering just to prove they're better than we are (if they even register to the forums lol)
about bonus points, ill agree its a bad system, but it does make the ratings of those that have played different amounts of games more comparable; i cant think of a better way of doing that, not that ive actually tried.
a good thing would be to enable viewing the ratings both with and without bonus; to see the increased threat of a challanger that hasnt played in a while and therefore has a bunch of bonus points, and be able to timelessly compare the "raw" ratings across the board, from one time to another.
Skyze: we all start to lose at some point, be it to cheese or not. but i think, if youre so concerned about your record that you hold back from playing as much as you'd otherwise want to, youre losing focus: the important things that keeps us playing in the face of bad times is adapting & improving our game as to not lose in the same stupid ways as before, and in the constant search of the perfect game that is so awesome to play (and win!)
i have never seen obvious signs of hacking, other than that one disc hacker that won every game in 0 minutes. but that was a while back. anyway, if its obvious, just report it and rid your mind of it: move on.
.. sometimes, people are just lucky (or you are unlucky with a disconnection at a bad time) ... shit will always be able to happen. bonus points or not! if starcraft be the food of love, play on!
