Had a good session since I got back. Seven wins in a row got me above 2000 as well as the ol' 54% ratio mark.

@Gradius: how do you figure they're ranked by skill? I don't get how there could be a ranking if there aren't even numbers, only random names... And couldn't it be that you find lots of "famous" players in the same division because they're the guys who started playing really early and won all their games? Its pretty clear that old division > new division, but that doesn't mean they are "ranked"... that's just an intrinsic property of the league system from what I can tell.

Well at the very least it sorts you with players who started about the same time as you, so that you do actually have a chance and don't get put into a division with a bunch o' 2000 pointers.

Also added myself back in, although it might be the worst time possible since I've started playing random a bit (and my P is abysmal) but hopefully this'll encourage me to ladder a bit more ; ) gotta burn those bonus points!

its a good player, wish we knew him better round here tho. as with so many members who dont post alot. (or maybe its me, being too selective about the topics i read..)

Yeah Smung is LFC. I figured 13 posts was fine, since he's been up for sparring, LFC, playing vs TheMista in a showmatch etc...

Yeah, I always wonder how there can be such disparity when those involved have played approx the same number of games. Ranking system remains a mystery to me.

From what I can tell, most SCL frequenters are from EU. So, it makes sense.

FINALLY got 50 random wins / 50 terran wins / 25 zerg wins.. Felt like forever, since Im matching consistently 2500+ and if I dont get protoss, it was hard as hell. I also quit everygame I got protoss when randoming, just to make sure I was actually playing T/Z and improving.

now I want my zerg to 50 wins, but I dunno if I can do another 25 wins at this level.. it was hell getting 15 to get my achievement points for 25 =[

Might just play zerg the first ~30 games of the new reset, then protoss from there-on out.. hmm. that 25 is gonna bug me (im a perfectionist; thats what ive been doing in the little time ive been playing SC lately, I have 100% completed the Co-op achievements/every other achievement besides the league wins) and not everything being 50, is annoying. Least at 50, thats the amount of each that I feel its worth playing for the achievement points (next one is 100, which is too much for offracing at 2500+)
