play more games and you'll probably end up where you should. maybe you need some more consistency in your wins to "deserve" a promotion (also, you might go straight into platinum)

geez, guess I proved Duren's theory wrong again.. Just played like five 1400+ players in a row..(one 1580) each win only netting me between 10 and 14 pts (not counting bonus points).. Very lame, trust me I WISH duren's theory of how the ladder works was valid, cause I seem to only play the top rated players, so I could gain massive points.. but Ive been gaining only 8-16 points consistently from 600 diamond to now.. beating players always 300+ my rating.

anyways, 1100 now, slowly getting up there.

I certainly have to say losing one point to top ranked players and winning 16 points are more than fair. Maybe if you get to play against top 200 world ranked players you will understand the diffrence between a win and a win.

I just totally dominated the #40th ranked player in the world, and got 14 points. Hes 500 points ahead of me. I can beat a player my same ranking, and will get 10 or 12 pts. Not much of a difference. Sure, you MAY get more points vs a higher player, but that is not a guarantee.. It is all based on who is FAVORED, not point totals. thought I explained that before.

I wish it was what the system you are saying (as its totally incorrect), it'd make my climbing so easy cause I beat so many players 200+ points above me, but alas it is based on the FAVOR system, in which my hidden rating is too high and I am usually the one favored, even vs players with 200+ points than me.

I played FIVE players above 1400 in a row tonight.. ie - top 200 WORLD players. (the 200th spot is 1400 exactly, according to SC2ranks.com).. but nice try for your badmouthing. Maybe if your win ratio didnt drop 5% everytime you climb a measly 100 pts, you'd be slightly more credible.

Like i said, laddering is not that hard, stop whining about the system please, its just sad. Maybe if you stop gathering bonus points before you play 5 games and get 100 points, you would be slightly more credible.

What i dont understand is that you are sitting waiting for bonus points before you play like 5 games to get 100 rating, then you post and whine on the system here?
And if ur gonna make excuses about the sitting and waiting for bonus points thing, its not the first time you do it, is it?

Btw, Win/loss ration means nothing. We both got more win ratio than pro players like madfrog, incontrol and stuff, but that doesnt make us better players than them, since you didnt play the same opponents or games.

I had 12-15 losses due to disconnects, and that sucks but i dont start telling you about how i would beat ur ass if only i didnt get them, like you whine on "platinum bugg" to me, and i dont tell you how lucky you are to have a stable connection when you play, even if you are lucky(annoying right? i know ur not lucky, just cuz i had problems doesnt mean you are lucky for not having them. So stop saying im lucky for not having some fking bugg).

You are not worse of than anyone of us, get over it and play some games instead of crying about points while waiting for bonus points.

It's pretty discouraging when you drop 15 spots on the ladder from a single bad streak.

You know what's ironic, I did some 2v2s a few days ago, and despite picking Random for all eleven games I played that day, I never got Terran even ONCE.

Can someone who knows how to do probability math tell me what the odds of that are?

Gifted, was the variation spread or did you often find yourself with 1 race until you made 'hard wins' and if so, was that race kept away until you won with the other races?
