Can't bring myself to play SC2 after what they are doing to my BW. Going to delete myself from the ladder. For now at least.

It also annoys the hell out of me.

Meh 20 people is a very small sample size.
Also, the race imbalance doesn't really occur until higher level play.

It actually is not a sample it is the whole population

Regardless of how you look at it, selecting only a fragment of the population is "sampling". In this case, looking at only the 1500+... is a sample, and too small a sample to make a deduction.
That's what I thought you were refering to when talking about "20 people", because that's exactly the number of people in the 1500+ subsection from that ranking.
I see now that you were replying to Crota's post.
It's also hard to sample because there are different skills involved, but I think that chart does a good job at selecting relevant groups.
What I'm trying to say is that looking only at the "top" players wouldn't be enough either, since sampling is too small, but that looking at the results for all players above 1k would be more reliable.
=> Overall, it displays a result that goes in the same direction as looking at the 1500+, but it does so much more reliably.

I'm going to go on a limb and say that I truly think that zerg is the hardest race to "ladder train" with in comparison to the other 2 races, and that imbalance isn't nearly as bad as statistics show.
The heavy reactionary style of zerg while fighting against a huge array of terran and protoss aggressive and expansive styles, and the cheesy zergs zvz, is just overbearing to really hammer out solid play. I believe zerg players need to have specific training session/training partner time to really improve their play (this is true for all races but I'm thinking it goes double for zerg)
I bet most of the *random* players you find doing good in the ladder, practice on the ladder. BUT you do see recognized zerg names having good ladder ranking. If things were really that imbalanced, I don't believe that you'd even see those names up there.
Also you'll notice that the zergs tend to have a larger base of ladder games than the other races around the same rank (look at korean zergs who are up there, and look at how many games the unrecognizable zerg names have).
and like ladder ratings are so screwed up that rating doesn't even mean much. I'm sitting at almost 900 and i see a zerg at 1217, he has 4 more wins and 4 less losses than me. at a generous 15pts per game thats still 4x15 4x15, 120 point difference. The only way i know how to explain that is abusing to get into diamond real quick then using all bonus points in there and some ladder luck. that's not really ~better~. This kind of comparison is very wrong, but we don't really have anything else to go on.
looking at sc2ranks site right now, the very top player listed is a korean zerg
1 KR Zerg하안사거리 1,702pts 443wins 362losses 55.03%
then go down the list and what do you see
29 KR ZergCheckPrime 1,501pts 749wins 482losses 60.84%
more games, higher win%, less pts.
this division/point system sucks.
but don't get me wrong, its still fun to compare in some friendly competition like here, except seeing that Duren's win% is a little less than mine was when i had that number of games and he already passed me up.

It all depends on who you have to play Superkiller, the only reason i got more points and less games than you, with about same win rate, is that i played higher ranked and pointed players that rewarded me more in points per win.
I dont think it would be fair if my victory over 1300 point players rewards same as a 800 point player would.
My PvZ is very solid, if you want to pratice with me i have 4 EU quest passes we can use, im free the entire weekend.

The point system and bonus pool is pretty silly. I would much rather I just saw their hidden matchmaking value (or at least had some way to see it) so that I better know where I stand.
