Finally got that masters promotion for the 2v2team of utter secks that is me+peanut (dropsonic)

... we've grinded enough games to take the #1 spot on our little SCL list by far

So how does one go about being promoted ? is it just by being top of your league ? as im gold and im constantly being matched against platinum and winning well decimating them. yet im only ranked 13th in my league ?

Nothing to do with internal ranks in your division.

it can take a while; the system promotes you when (if) your consistently performing at a platinum level. The plat players you are beating MAY just be gold's in disguise - plat players on a downturn, heading for a demotion.

.. i srsly wish it was easier to asnwer your question. its a silly system.

Damn you Europeans. Gotta try to be better at EVERYTHING. EU top of Masters division and top of Diamond division. Sure, AM tops every other league, but that's not what we are fighting for!! First I will take back the Diamond league for us Yanks. And then I will fight for the Master's title as well (eventually, maybe, probably, hopefully).

I am coming for the top of Diamond, and I will not rest until I get it! Well, except for tonight, I am tired so I am going to sleep..BUT TOMORROW, I will go for that number one spot!!

Well, maybe not tomorrow, its kind of a bad day for me...SOON...SOON I will go for that number one spot and it will be mine...or someone else's. This I swear to you!

to play the eurotroll for a bit, i'd like t point out that the general skill level in EU is widely considered to be higher than that on NA, meaning each of your points is arguably less hard-earned than each of ours ...

... in otehr news, i got promote @ the ladder reset.. i geuss that easily happens if your on teh fence to a promotion, especialy if there is curently a higher degree of inactivty among players of similar & higher skill than yourself, as compared to at the start of last season. (becsue who belongs where is determined with only the 'active' players relative skill-gaps as benchmarks)


... so who else got promoted @ reset?
