    Default The Monster Ball

Damn guys, Lady Gaga played up in Vancouver last night, and I was there. And it was amazing. Absolutely amazing.
Anybody else have the Gaga experience?

ah c'mon, amongst all pop-shit celebs she can actually sing live very well, unlike Kesha and Britney
anyway you have to see it to feel it

I guess we should all listen to cut-your-wrist-cause-the-world-is-unfair music like you. I agree with Spychi. Among pop stars, Lady Gaga is by far one of the best.

    Rest In Peace, Old Friend.

I've seen it. Worst 5 seconds of my life.

Listen to something respectable like Rick Astley.

I'm mostly with DS on this. The Gaga is a bit annoying for me but I must admit that she has some skills. Lets just say that she is more respectable than Miley Cyrus, Bieber or whatever kids listen to on the radio these days.

With that said, I never went to a Lady Gaga show (and never will) but pop artists have the money to deliver crazy shows unlike in other genre so if you like that kind of music, I assume that it's probably an experience you would want to live.

I don't listen to a specific kind of music, I mix alot of tunes
    metal and pop
    rave and club
    rock and rap
I listen to what I like not what other people find good, I stck with my taste

Well there's simply no accounting for bad taste, then.

She's relatively original, but it still comes down to the same old mainstream pop music that the bulk of people go crazy for. Catchy tunes, flashy choreographies etc...

If she sang at some of the festivals I go to, I'd probably check out here stage just because of the fun atmosphere there'd be around it (or I'd get dragged there anyways), but past that I'm not really interested.

I have no idea who Kesha is though...

Yeah Gaga is better than the trashiest 'music', and I understand people might listen to her music because it is catchy, but to me there's plenty of flashing and popping, but not enough musical subtlety (real instrument mixing, the little details that make awesome music awesome, etc...).

edit: I should point out one thing though: what she does, she does VERY well; whatever that is ; )
