    Cool Balance Imbalance Changes

    The Starcraft series has pride itself in balance. I think the recent games and statistics suggest that there does not exist this "balance" in its current stage. Although some may argue that specific races have not figured out the counter to certain builds and it will be worked out over time. It does seem to me that we only have 1/3 of the final product available and we are often quickly jumping to conclusions.

    What do you think?
    What race needs to be rebalanced?
    Which units need to be reexamined?

    On a sidenote, if you want to take a look at the international tournament held in the last few days, I have posted a good number of videos along with some talks about the gameplay. Judge for yourself. Also looking for suggestions and ideas to make things better. Thanks.

    Not sure if adding Lurkers to the Zerg unit base would help or hurt the game, right now I think if it is unbalanced, it's not by much, and blizzard needs to work it very carefully, 1 misjudgment and they could ruin this game for a large group of players.

    Personally, despite issues I may have with the difficulty of playing Zerg, I do think that the game is really very well balanced.

    This new mass Reaper style TvZ for instance - it's quite a new development, and that reduced Nitro Packs cost has been around for a while now, I think. Then there's stuff like the 'magic box' technique with Muta that already seems to have made a significant impact on the TvZ metagame.

    EDIT: Er apparently I posted without finishing that train of thought . My point was that the metagame still has stuff to be explored, I think!

    Balance takes time. The design is pretty good but there's a ton of more work probably that needs to be done.

    While many used it, it was not relevant. I used to do this against thors and even save my critical mutas.

    No one made use of it on an experiment video, untill now. This experiment video was also a consequence of progamers using this tactic.

    What I mean is, why weren't progamers using it if us lowly "casuals" picked up on it. Was it just that Mutalisks weren't considered good against Terran? I watched a lot of Terran vs Zerg but I seem to have amnesia for what went on during the beta
