    It's pointless. In BW, a stacked muta when in precise micro can extend their attack range.

    The muta in BW seem to have this long range but would decelerate into their target +n distance towards the target from their attack range. So if one micros properly, you can somewhat evade an attack.

    You could also instakill marines and in turn spend less time in their range. In StarCraft 2, you just get HSM'd or Thor'd

    i have never seen seeker missile used against mutas in a 1v1 game. (cept maybe in beta sometime that iv forgotten about)
    I am an enthusiast of good strategy games, sc2Esports and rollplay, although i dont really play anything atm.
    I work an internship at a government agency this fall, and have a good time at it.
    I'm being more social, active and honest lately. in all forums.

    I did. It was in Beta though where the Great Artosis with his super mega micro managed to lose 20+ Mutas to 2 HSMs... And then he left without GGing of course... -.-

    sounds epic. but was that before or after the massive nerf to SM? (its no logner called hunter seeker missile)

    surpsisingly, i rarely see storm perform well vs mutas in sc2, part reason is probably them being much less tacked most of the time.

    (HT's are still worth it vs mutas though, as support)

    lol iv pulled off a few nice storms on air once a guy had about 14 voids near full charge I had 1 arcon 4 ht(all with storms) and some stalkers and the storms completly destroyed his voids even though he tried to micro it.
