The Roach evolved from a singular, simple idea: lets give the Zerg a unit that regenerates its health really fast. Blizzard then went and slaughtered the idea by making it so complicated, Roaches need to Burrow before they get access to the ability.

Not without an upgrade at Lair.

They made something simple into a complex gimmick.

It does not regen any faster above ground, no matter what upgrades.

There is no upgrade for roaches available at hive tech; it has been combined with the tunneling claws upgrade.

When was the last time you actually played SCII, DSquid? They took out unburrowed regen about the 5th beta patch...

Demo is only half wrong, roaches still have a significant regen advantage over other zerg units above ground (without upgrades).

I play mostly Protoss. I sometimes play Zerg, but I never use Roaches, so sorry.

You should probably, you know check your information before you assert that you are right. Otherwise you just sound like Dsquid, and no one wants that.
