Default How do Achievements vs. AI work?

So yesterday I decided to play a game against a Very Hard AI to see if it registered as a victory against all AI types below it. It didn't even register as a win against Very Hard AI. Was this bugged or does "evenly matched" mean something other than "1v1"?

it means that both players must be at 100% handicap (meaning no handicap) and using a meele status map.

Also, if you haven't - You have go play the game via a custom game in the "multiplayer" tab.

I tried played a handful of games under singleplayer -> Play versus AI and none of them registered.

well when i played through the campaign on brutal and got achievments, it said I completed the campaign on every other difficulty as well so I assume the same thing applies for other achievements

It has to be in the multiplayer tab? Wow. That's so annoying. Why is there even the option in the single player tab?

speaking of this, how exactly do you set-up a game for a 1vs6 or whatever? Every time I play an 8 player map it tries to merge things into even teams, and custom just splits it into 3 teams.

    Hi,

I had a similar problem when I was trying to do the vs 7 insane ai. For that I had to change game mode to melée then FFA. ( though I did this via the single player not mp custom games so didn't get the achievement).

confirmed, you must do this via multiplayer. This is a serious bug and needs fixing. Specially since b.net "promts" you to use the play vs Ai in singleplayer but you get no score for it.
