will Starcraft II be released simultaneously for windows and Mac?

I was wondering since I have a Mac. I know Blizzard released Starcraft II on Mac a few months after they released it on PC does anyone know if they are planing to do the same thing with Starcraft II or are they going to release it simultaneously for both PC and Mac?

I believe the plan was for simultaneous release. I can't remember the source for that though.

Blizzard always release their games on PC and MAC on the same disc, when the game ships. I believe it was even mentionned on the Q&A over at the official SC2 website, but I'm not sure.

Although that may be true i have checked the offical SC2 Q and A and this is what it said:

StarCraft II is being developed for Windows and Mac. We have no current plans to bring the game to any console platform.

However the reason why I am asking this is because when I looked on the starcraft wiki it said this:

As you can see there about almost a year gap in the release of starcraft for the PC and Mac. Broodwar was even released before starcraft came out on mac.

That was 10 years ago when Macs weren't even remotely as popular or accessible as they are now.
