Sort of hard to judge that though.Balance isn't just numbers. If it takes 1.5x more skill to balance another race, then that doesn't mean the races are balanced at all.

Yeah, if those numbers are accurate then the game is incredibly balanced right now. I am amazed that extreme of dead even numbers are even possible on a brand new game.
Kudos to the mighty Blizzard.
And as for race choice. Protoss/Terran are equally easy to learn in my opinion. Zerg are much more difficult for me. Balancing drone production makes my brain hurt. I always need a dedicated worker-making building that should ALWAYS be making one worker.

toss can get new players to understand the basics pretty fast, but they aren't exactly the easiest race if you get deep into the game with them.
teching with toss requires knowledge and skill, especially changing tech

i would think zerg would be the easier race all you do it spawn larva build units expand not really any micro invovled since youll have so many units but i could see why protoss would be considered that
