Oh, you mean the physics where Mutalisks can fly in space by flapping their wings, or how none of the Terran air/spacecrafts have RCS thrusters.
Then again, it would kinda look funny if Zerg had to fart in order to fly in space. (Zerg gas-powered thrusters!)

On a more serious comment: I think it would become technobabble for the sake of technobabble. Like how a lot of Star Trek's stuff was actual theoretical science, but very little of it was nessesary to convey the story.

That's not to say that I don't like science parts of scifi, but in SC2 I was quite satisfied with the way they showed it - the small readouts on the lab specimens.

Why couldn't they fart AND flap their wings?
The latter seems to be a continous reflex thing with mutalisks, a bit like sharks who have to constantly move to breathe.

i know it is a fictional alien race in a fictional, digital world of a human-made computer game. I know Zerg can shoot donkeys if Blizzard wants it. How is that unrealistic? There are far more stunning things that happen in nature on earth than producing bone.

Hell, before anything with bones is born it forms them on its own. FUCK MAN thats so unrealistic cause it didnt start with any bones.

FUCK Protoss are so unrealistic because they use psi energy and thats not something that happens on Earth

You cant say something is unrealistic because it doesnt happen on Earth. Unless you were to be one of the leading biologists in the world I wouldnt give a shit what you think. Even then I dont think Id care cause you cant say what an alien species can or cannot do.

but I am one of the leading biologists in the world!!!

I meant gravity and such, but nice point...

However, @RainbowToeSocks, things that have bones and form them on their own are life forms who were meant to have bones-anyway, it already is technobabble. I agree on that.
The point was not that something is unrealistic because it doesn't happen in Earth, but rather because it doesn't function according to laws we consider universal. Life has more imagination than I do, granted. I didn't mean to insult anybody.
    weather forecast: lots of Bofors...
