Question regarding campaign

Ok so i finished all of the planet missions ,and i had only "In utter darkness" from the crystal to finish.So i decided to leave it and go straight to Char.As you know there is a warning that u won't be able to go on other planets if u go on Char ,and since i finished all other planets i just went there.So the question is ,after i finish the last mission will I be able to start the "In utter darkness" mission?Cus i don't have it in my archives ,my save must've been before i played "In utter darkness" once,and I can't select it from there

Yeah, you can always go back and replay any mission in the campaign. Even once you've reached Char.

But since you never played the map you can't play it through the archives.

I think it's quite bad that when you've beaten the last mission you can only go the the mission archives and nothing else. It's like cut off from the rest of everything.

You can even play the missions of choices you didn't make, like the Haven mission and the Tosh mission, so you should be able to play it, i guess.

Well, but then you played the "counterpart" if I didn't unlock the secret mission I couldn't play it even though I unlocked it.

Difficult to know, because i played them all, but maybe that's why they call it a secret mission?

That's just bad cus i only need to finish the last on Char and "In utter darkness" on brutal to get Kerrigan So if I start a new campaign and finish just "In utter darkness" on brutal ,then load my previous campaign which I got to last mission and finish it on brutal too ,will it count as all missions complete on brutal and i get the portrait ,or do I have to finish all of the missions in one campaign?

No no... it keeps track of EVERY mission you play even in different campaigns. You're final archives will show what the hardest difficulty is that you've beat each mission regardless of which campaign play-through it happened. So all you need to do is beat each mission once on brutal.
